John Francis Murray is one of my fav contemporary artists. He lives pretty close to me in silver spring, and is a great amaing artist that i hope one day be as successful as he is.You can see his art at johnfrancismurray.com. Since i’ve known him he has quit his job at the bureau of engraving, and went full steam ahead with being a fine artist. Quite an undertaking. I greatly admire this artist, im always puzzled why artists like him are not more popular, but i think he is in a place in his career as an artist that everything is changing for the better.
