Calling all beginner, skilled and professional artists for a day of drawing and creative exploration. We will provide live models for figure drawing for a day you won’t forget. Easels available on first come first serve basis. Focus will be on process as much as finished work. Long & short poses. Participants must supply their own materials. Participants must be 14 years or older. Parental permission required for participants younger than 18. $25.00 in advance. $35.00 at the door. Switch off your cell phones and leave the world behind for an exhilarating day of art!

Starting Next quarter, we will be doing the 2012 sketchbook exchange. So get a nice sketchbook. Handbook makes nice ones. THey sell them in plaza.
Im Hoping to get everyone to participate in a sketchbook exchange between MC artists this coming year. If you are interested in participating, get a small sketchbook. I recommend a small moleskin sketchbook of good quality. Each Month artists will Sketch 5 sketches in a sketchbook and hand it off to another artist the following month. If you choose to participate you will at the end get your OWN sketchbook filled with other artists sketches in it along with your own. I did a sketchbook exchange before and it was a great experience, and definatly keeps you motivated and encourages you to grow. If you are interested in participating email me.
